Event Terms & Attendee Agreement

Rewiring Hospitality 2027 is an educational and professional development event hosted by ByPrestonLee, LLC d/b/a Thirty Percent (“Company”). To buy a ticket, you agree to the full Attendee Agreement, Media Consent, Release & Acknowledgement. In short:

  • Educational content only. Nothing presented is legal, tax, accounting, financial, investment, HR, employment law, or regulatory compliance advice. Talk to a qualified professional before making decisions in those areas.
  • Your decisions are your own. Any business, operational, or financial decision you make based on event content is voluntary, and you are responsible for evaluating and carrying it out.
  • No guaranteed results. Outcomes depend on factors outside the Company’s control. The Company makes no promises about revenue, profit, cost savings, retention, guest satisfaction, or any other result.
  • Release and limit of liability. To the fullest extent the law allows, you release the Company and its owners, staff, contractors, speakers, affiliates, sponsors, and venue partners from claims arising from your attendance, your participation, or your reliance on event content. The Company’s total liability is limited to what you paid for your ticket. It is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits or business interruption.
  • Media consent. The event will be photographed, filmed, recorded, and may be livestreamed. You give the Company the irrevocable right to use your name, image, voice, likeness, and statements for any lawful business purpose, including marketing, social media, and educational materials. You receive no compensation and no approval rights, and all event media belongs to the Company.
  • Conduct. You agree to act professionally and follow venue rules, safety requirements, and the law. The Company may remove anyone whose conduct is disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate, and no refund is given in that case.
  • All sales final. Tickets are non-refundable. The Company is not obligated to issue a refund, credit, or any other payment if you cancel, can’t attend, or don’t show up, for any reason. This also applies to tickets bought for someone else.
  • Governing law. This agreement is governed by California law. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
